However, if the legendary 4 or 5-day Inca Trail trek beckons to your adventurous spirit, it’s important to plan ahead. Due to limited space, booking in advance is essential—approximately 6 to 7 months prior—to secure your spot. With only 500 trekkers, including porters, allowed per day, securing your place on this iconic trail requires early preparation.
